So as some of you might have heard, Swede Fest 7 was a resounding success. With 25 entries total (including one from the U.K. and another from Spain) the festival had some of the most diverse entries we’ve received yet. We’re getting around to uploading all the entries online, including some that have extended versions of the screened films, so please just bear with us as well work to get those properly uploaded to the Swede Fest site. So keep checking back and we’ll be sure to send out a tweet as soon as they are up and ready to view.
Dumb Drum would like to give a shout out to everyone who submitted an entry as without you guys, Swede Fest would not be possible. Too everyone who helped promote the event, be it tweeting about it to passing out flyers to telling friends on Facebook about the event: THANK YOU! A shout out to the local Fresno bloggers who helped get the word out, it is because of you guys that the popularity of Swede Fest has been so quick to be picked up outside of normal audience and much credit is due. All these people are what makes Fresno so special and without all of you, Swede Fest would not be where it’s at now.
