Zero Punctuation: Red Faction Guerrilla review

The idea of being able to destroy everything in your video game environment was quite the prospect when the original Red Faction was released for the Playstation 2 back in 2001.  A destructible environment is something that is usually overlooked in games and this was the first franchise to introduce the concept with their Geo-Mod engine and make it work properly. The game itself wasn’t amazing but the sheer fun of being able to run down a hallway, stop and blow of hole the size of a Volkswagen in a random wall was pretty damn cool. I have played the demo of this new iteration of the franchise and although it has fundamentally stayed the same, the biggest difference is that it mechanic have switched from first-person to third-person view. But that shouldn’t deter you from trying the game out cause its pretty damn fun! But lets all sit down and see what our Aussie friend thought of the game.
