So after Sam Raimi’s “Spider-Man 4” collapsed last year, Sony was quick to announced a reboot of the franchise along with director Marc Webb (500 Days Of Summer) in the director’s chair. Ever since then, information has been quiet but that didn’t stop the internets from letting speculation and rumors get the best of us fanboys when it came down to see who would take over the web slinger role from Tobey Maguire. Well today everyone can stop wondering and start asking “Who the fuck is Andrew Garfield?” instead. Yes, Sony made it official yesterday with the announcement that the 26-year old British actor would be taking on the role of Spider-Man. I’ve never heard of him but he has been in a few films such as “The Imaginarium Of Dr. Parnassus”, “Boy A”, and the upcoming Facebook film “The Social Network”. After the break, you can see a montage of the actor’s work in that video so check it out and let us know what you think about the newest web head. Also after the break, check out the press conference where they announced the casting choice. Should they have picked someone else or does this cat seem like he was born for superhero stardom?
