Dem Trailers: Let Me In

Before this whole Twilight craze, there was a time where I found the whole idea of vampires to be cool. But nowadays, it seems everyone is cashing in on the whole concept and the over saturation of vampires has really taken it toll on my ability to love any stories that include them. Luckily the Swedish film “Let The Right One” did the genre right and saved me. And of course that means there has to be an American remake and here we have the first trailer for the film. Directed by Matt Reeves (Cloverfield) and starring Chloe Moretz & Richard Jenkins, the trailer looks surprisingly faithful to the original. Except for that awful soundtrack they used. So what do you think? Will this be enough to forget the case of Jacob v Edward?

  1. You have no right to get upset on behalf of vampire culture — until recently you'd never seen "The Lost Boys," nor a single episode of "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" or "Angel."

  2. I'm a fan of Buffy the Vampire Slayer, not of Joss Whedon. He seems like a self-fellating douche to me, despite the fact half of his TV ventures have failed monumentally. You know which ones didn't? Buffy and Angel — the two series about vampires.

That being said, the trailer looks okay, I guess. I can't tell the physical difference between Hit Girl and the boy in the film, though. They look like twins to me.
