Here at Dumb Drum, we like all things Westside: Westside Connection, Moby’s song “Southside” (in which one point he switches it up to Westside), Westside Ford in Firebaugh… and the list goes on. So when we heard that the Fresno Etsy Especial group were doing “Handmade Holiday Bazaar” to support the Fresno Westside Farmers, we were all about it. I gotta support my peeps especially during these tough times and although admission is $5, you can forgo paying if you bring 2 non-perishable food items. It’s all going down this evening at the Big Red Church at the corner of Van Ness & Yale and goes from 6pm to 11pm. Artists selling stuff, workshops and even music from the bad-assery that is Johnny Q is what you can expect there. Now I don’t know a damn thing about arts & crafts but I got mad respect for people who got the skills to create stuff outta nothing so come on out, pick up some Christmas gifts for those people that you care about and what not and support a good cause at the same time! Still not convinced? Check out the Top 10 reasons why you should attend tonight. Plus, I wanna see exactly how big this Big Red Church really is. Better be fucking big.
artsy, cute but artsy. thought there would be more stuff…..but i did buy two items (not for me, of course)
