Dumb Drum has been doing Tweetups before Tweetups even had a name! But leave it up to the master bloggers over at the Fresno Beehive to take community gatherings and take it to the next level with their Fresno Tweetup Goes Wild 2 going down this Saturday, August 27th from 5 p.m to 8 p.m. at the Fresno Chaffee Zoo. Here’s what’s going down:
Fresno Tweetup Goes Wild 2 (or #wildfresno in hashtag speak) is the second local Twitter gathering organized by Chaffee Zoo and fresnobeehive.com. It’s an after-hours party inside the zoo with all sorts of fun planned: A Twitpic Scavenger Hunt, a live performance by ultra hip indie band Fierce Creatures, an “Amazing Race” style competition that will crown a Fresno’s top Twitter team, a photobooth, carictures and, of course, lots of animals. Anybody who wants to attend can RSVP on Twitter to @fresnozoo or @fresnobeehive. Adults cost $5. Kids 10 and under are free with adult admission.

I choose the elephant for it’s impressive size and because it can serve as transport for me, my crew and my gear. Plus if we can use it’s nose to spray down the zombies giving us time to get all gangsta on em. STOMP!
I have never been to the zoo, therefore do not know the full choices available for selection! Better Pick me so I know….
Definitely the elephant. It’s the cargo van of the animal kingdom: big and slow but powerful, versatile and capable of incredible feats of strength. I will need such an animal to rebuild civilization.
I would choose the tiger as a fast running away from the zombies and also good for hunting other prep for food.

A sloth first comes to mind, they seem like they would be a cool and collective animal in the midst of a zombie Apocalypse.
