So with all the craziness going around this weekend with the opening of The Met, the holidays just around the corner and everyone still hungover from the Obama victory parties, we’ve decided to push the deadline for entries back a couple of days so instead of the old deadline of Monday, November 17th at midnight, we are now accepting entries up until the day before the event (which is still on Sat. November 22nd @ 1pm at the C.A.F.E. Infoshop in Chinatown) which would make the new deadline Friday, November 21 at 5pm, at which point we need at least a link to your work email to thedumbdrum@gmail.com or made arrangements for you to give us a hard copy of the work that night or before the event the next day. PLEASE SPREAD THE WORD! So that’s almost a whole week extra and that more than enough time to bust something out (just a reminder, Bryan Harley’s Robocop swede from the last festival was made in one day: IT CAN BE DONE! Check it out after the break.) If you have any questions check out our page about the festival for the rules plus feel free to email us at thedumbdrum@gmail.com or just leave a comment here and we’ll get to it ASAP! For now, here are some of the swede’s from the last festival to keep you motivated. Hope to see you guys’ stuff and out at the event next week!
