So with all the hoopla with Swede Fest last week, we’ve been neglectful to write about the film component of next year’s Rogue Festival. The good news: The deadline for applications was moved back to give you more time. The bad news: the deadline is this Sunday, Nov. 15th. Yeah… so here’s the thing, you don’t need to have your project ready, you just have to submit your app, pay your fee and you’ll have until February next year to get your film done. So that’s the good thing, right? What you need to do is between now and this Sunday is sit down, get your notebook out and draw up a battle plan. Can you make a film by February that you can screen in front of people? You have time to do it but do you have the drive to actually get it done? Well I believe you can, no matter what I’ve heard about you being a flake so decide either way and be sure to get your application in and get rolling on your project! For all the info you need, be sure to go to the official Rogue Festival site over here OR you can just hit up the break and scope out all the info you need to know about the application itself and the fees. Sit down, study it and produce! Please spread the word and lets represent Fresno filmmaking at the Rogue Festival next year!
