The City of Fresno is teaming up once again with Comcast to bring Movies In The Park back for the summer of 2010 in beautiful downtown Fresno at Eaton Plaza. The movies screening are cool (although I predict many empty seats for “Year One”) and the program kicks off this week with a screening of the pretty awesome “Star Trek” and continues every Friday until September 24th. The movies start at dusk (usually around 7:30) so you might be fighting some heat as we get into the hot summer months, take advantage of these cooler months and head on out soon. And the best part is admission is FREE! Now if they only served beer, this would be ultimate! Check out the full list of films up there or head on to the official site here for further info. Hope to see you guys out by the water tower for some movies! [Photo via Flickr]
do you bring your own blankets or something to sit on the grass? we want to go see 9 :)
Yeah, I've seen people bring lawn chairs and blankets out to sit on. Or you can just sit on the concrete steps (though prob not very comfortable for a 1-2 hour movie).
Yes, please bring a blanket or chairs… lawn seating reserved for blankets up front, chairs to the sides and in the terraced concrete area.
No ferris wheel though!
