With Swede Fest 4 going down this past weekend, I think some things will return to a little bit more normal around here so we apologize for the lack of content these last couple of weeks. For those of you who graciously blessed us with your presence at the Starline this past Saturday for the event (the house was packed and we stopped counting people at that point), we apologize for the audio problems and trust us that we’ll try ten times as hard to avoid those kind of problems in the future. Head on over to the Swede Fest official site and you can see some pics from the event as well as all the entries, sign up for our new Swede Fest newsletter and even donate to our cause of purchasing our own screen & projector for future events (and if you guys have any other contacts or ideas for us to obtain such equipment for this event, please let us know)! But if your too lazy to click on that link, you can check ’em all out here on Dumb Drum as well. Thanks to everyone to helped organize the event, everyone who created an entry, everyone who came out and everyone who helped spread the word. This is truly a community event and it makes me so happy to see that Fresno is leading the way in this art. Also, in case you missed it, you can view our appearance on Great Day from last Friday here so you can catch Bryan & I in all our nervous glory! Peep out the entries after the break (yep, I put ours above the fold because I can) and be sure to start thinking about YOUR entry for Swede Fest 5, coming Spring of next year! C’mon, if we can get people in Madrid to submit entries, why can’t we get more entries from around here? Let’s get going people and represent Fresno creativity!
P.S.—Not sure if they’ll do it again this time but I hope the Fresno Beehive brings back The Swedies again!
Good times. I already have my movie picked out for the next one.
Me too. Though my sister had a great idea and I wanted to talk to Brodiemash about maybe making this certain movie the community project to send back to Spain.
