UPDATE: So it’s over and instead of going out blasting, Apple went out of this mug by shooting themselves in the foot and gettin’ caught. New iLife apps are cool (iPhoto & iMovie seem like the coolest), iWork is dumb (it’s got the word “work” right in the title. Why would I want to buy that?), new 17-Inch Macbook Pros are awesomely expensive (the option for a matte screen is exciting, though) and iTunes music sans digital rights managment is always welcome but everyone knew this day would come so it wasn’t much of a surprise. No new iMac, Mac Pros, version of Final Cut Pro….epic MEH! Visit Apple’s site for all the pretty pictures and to help Steve Jobs fight his hormonal imbalance.
You know you wanna know what’s going on over in Appleland, right? Well head on over to Engadget here where they will be liveblogging the event with up to the second updates of what’s going down at the final Apple keynote at Macworld. I’ll also be twittering major announcements on my Twitter so feel free to follow me there as well. Afterwards, we’ll have a quick recap on this post of what went down. NYUP! [Photo from Engadget]
iMovie and iPhone updates were pretty cool. But yeah, I’d rather get a FCP update.
And those iMac and Mac mini rumors didn’t seem to pan out. I guess they’ll be announcing that later in Spring.
