It’s not very often that Fresno gets a full length feature made here in town, be it independent or studio. But last year, Wiseguys Pictures shot a film here in our fair city using many local resources to get the job done and the film has been screening here in town since last week. The Hmong language film (with English subtitles) Daim Duab still has a few showings left so it’s still not too late to head on out and support local filmmaking. The screenings are taking place at the Crest Theater (1170 Broadway Ave. in downtown Fresno) and will be going down this Saturday, April 11th at 4:00 pm and then again at 7:30 pm and then the final local screening will be happening on Sunday, April 12th at 6:00 pm so mark it on your calendars and come on out and support local filmmaking & downtown movie screenings! Check out the trailer for the film after the break.
Definitely going to check this out. Saturday night or Sunday night though? Hmm. Who else wants to go?
@Bryan: I am down. Lemme know when you gonna roll, sir!
My only possible chance is the Sunday show and that is if I the Grizzlies’ game ends early enough.
Last weekend was impossible for me. I hope I can make it.
Just realized Sunday night not possible for me (FFW board meeting). Saturday at 7:30 it is!
