After shooting all over Fresno last year, local production “Finding Hope Now” has finally dropped its first trailer. Coming in at around the 3 minute mark it does seem a little long for a first trailer, but I have to say the camera work looks pretty good. The film, starring Michael Badalucco (who will always be Papa Mathilda in my book) and a bunch of local actors, still doesn’t seem to have a release date, but hopefully Fresno will get a premiere screening in the near future. Yeah, I wondered about the editing too. All the Fresno stuff at the beginning … cool for those of us who live here, but for anyone else, I dunno. Still, if it gets a local screening, I'll try my darnedest to be there.
