For some reason it’s been taking a while this year for all the footage screened at San Diego Comic Con this year to be leaked but as long as it gets here, that’s all that matters, right? This weekend we had Iron Man 2 footage leaked and now we get Kick-Ass. If this is your first time ever hearing about this IP, don’t worry, you ain’t alone. The comic as published on an independent imprint and really didn’t receive much promotion but that didn’t stop it from being one of the best reads I had (well, the book has yet to be finished but so far, so good). The footage looks… okay. There are a few moments that kind tickled my fancy but others, not so much. But I still have hope! But fuck, should I? Wanted (also a Mark Millar property) turned out to be “aight” but strayed too much from the book for me. I don’t know, we’ll see if this can come off as hyper-violent as they say it’s gonna be.
