A whole new year brings us a whole new reason to come together like Voltron (well, kinda like Voltron) and celebrate. And 2009 is starting off on the right foot for all nerdkind here in town as the Flashback Feature this week is one of my favorite films of all time: Clerks. Yes, the foul mouthed QuickStop clerks Dante & Randall will be blessing our ears & assaulting our eyeball rods (no love for the cones in this black & white film) this Thursday, January 8th so be ready for some of the best, crass, immature humor you’ve ever heard and some of the most static cinemetography EVAR! As usual, we’ll be meeting up before hand at Me & Ed’s Coney Island Grill (we need to get those folks to sponsor us, man) at 8pm as the films now start at 9pm over at Edwards Theater in Riverpark so that’ll still give you an hour or so of solid drank in ya! Remember, tickets are $5 and I suggest you get your tix before hand just in case. Spread the word, bring a friend & we’ll see you at the movies this week & hit the jump for the Clerks trailer!
