Every Friday I’ll post a Fresno pic that I find interesting for any number of reasons
I was walking around taking pictures of the old rundown Hotel Fresno when I suddenly spotted its reflection in the windows of the new IRS building (which is about 25 feet away, literally). It’s a beautifully sad juxtaposition, modern office complex vs. historic architecture, especially when you think that the Hotel Fresno building could be torn down. It’s the last remaining building out of many that once populated a bustling Broadway Street in downtown Fresno. (click the photo to enlarge)
Yeah! I’ve been trying to point out that high-contrast view for years! It is cool.
Keep the photography coming, sir! Hope you scouted some locations for “Fresno, Your Cool” while you were down there!
I love this pic! :) How cool is that!?!
Glad you liked it! Now here’s a pic that’ll blow your mind. Broadway Street, circa 1920. That’s Hotel Fresno on the right.
