Hot off the heels of this weekend’s Fresno Film Festival, Fresno Filmworks is not ready to leave the local cinephile unsatisfied as this Friday, April 8, they will screen the classic 1960 Alfred Hitchcock film “Psycho” at the Tower Theater. The film will be a 35mm print so that makes it even more special! On top of that, the screening will feature author Manuel Muñoz, a professor of creative writing from the University of Arizona and author of the new novel “What You See in the Dark”, a lyrical interpretation of the making of Hitchcock’s iconic movie. There will only be one screening at 6:30 p.m. so make plans to be there a little earlier. Tickets are on sale now and can be purchased here online and the prices are the usual $10 for general admission, $8 for students & seniors. This is a once in a lifetime experience so make plans to make it this week! Just for shits & giggles, I’ve posted the original trailer for the film after the break and should get you in the right mind set for the screening. This is gonna be awesome!
This event is going to be awesome. Check out Fresno Famous later this week for a story on Munoz and his book.
