Fresno Filmmakers Forum next week promises to make you a successful filmmaker*

(*success not guaranteed)

It seems like just yesterday everyone got together to talk film and misspell my name for the Fresno Filmmakers Forum in beautiful downtown Fresno but here we are almost a full year later and it’s time for the community to come together like Voltron! Next Saturday, October 25th is the date and if your even remotely interested in film, filmmaking or just looking to see what others are doing here in the area, you should really think about attending the forum going down at the Tower Theater in the heart of the Tower District. Now, I know what your saying: “But Rogue Roque, those tickets are kinda pricey at $20. Is it worth it?” And I respond with “Of course it is, foo!” You’ll come out of the event thinking “I would of gladly paid $40 for all that kind of knowledge!” It’s true: get to meet some good, genuinely enthusiastic filmmakers, listen to some wonderful speakers that you would otherwise never get to learn from and also connect with them, pick up a few pointers, maybe get John Kelly to shoot your swede…all types of doors are ready for you to kick open at the forum. It all starts at 8:30am and goes until 5pm (with the afterparty going on at Palomino’s so come grab a drink with me; Ray Arthur’s buying, I heard) so it’s going to be a full day of good times! Head on over to the official site for all the details and also to purchase your tickets. So cancel that laser hair removal appointment and plan to be out there next week. Here is the list of speakers and hope to see you guys out there!

  1. I don’t even know where to start with the post, Rogue. But that’s a good idea, maybe I will get John Kelly to shoot my swede.
