So this summer isn’t bringing you that live-action TaleSpin you’ve been waiting for your whole life but rather some other famous after school cartoons are ready to fucken melt your brain with a trip back to your childhood. With just a few weeks between us and the masturbatory Transformers 2 release date, a few official reviews have been released and for the most part, it seems like the sequel is going to be on par with the original. And it’s all primed to make a shit ton of duckets. I mean, really… what the fuck we’re you expecting? Dark Knight-type shit?! I’m okay with checking my brain in at the door as long as I get giant robots beating the living shit out of each other. Slash Film has gathered all the reviews that have come out and has them ready for you to check out right here. Now G.I. Joe has been a very interesting story as there has been claims that the director has been fired, banned from the editing room, horrible test screenings and that’s just the beginning.
It all started last week when Latino Review reported the initial story that Stephen Sommers had been essentially fired and damage control had already begun on fixing what they had in order to make the release date of August. Producer Lorenzo di Bonaventura stepped in and killed all the noise and reiterated that the film had in fact tested very well. And then SlashFilm got this early review and pretty much killed everything the producer had said. Yup, it looks like G.I. Joe is going to be as bad as we all thought. Oh well, I guess if I had to choose between these two 80’s cartoon franchises to be somewhat successful, I’d take Starscream over Snake Eyes. Still kinda sad you gotta know that you can’t win ’em all. And knowing is half the battle.
wow, BRODIE, got sum good shite there… Almost feels like u wera half wasted while writing that Transformer Masturbatory stuff. Let ur real feelings come out huh?… Can’t lie though, pretty much on that same uber excitement level here too. CAN’T COME SOON ENOUGH.
No need to be wasted to write this stuff. It pretty much writes itself when I’m blogging from the porcelain throne, which where I do all my blog posts from ;)
heheh… winky wanky.
I cant wait for the movie, theres just something about giant robots kicking the crap out of eachother, like Robot Jox but you dont have to be drunk to truely enjoy it. If you are jonesing for some classic Transformers, they have the season one cartoon at target for like $16, no crazy animals either its the G1 25th anniversary.
I watched the Transformers cartoon version during my childhood days. It is nice to know that good computer graphics brought the Transformers back again. I wish to see more of the Dinobots in action perhaps on another sequel.
Transformers movie rocks. i am a fan of Transformers ever since childhood. Now i have three kids and they all like the Transformers cartoon series and the Movie.
i love the graphics and special effects on the GI JOE Movie. the story line and action sequences are good too.
