Last week, a teaser trailer was released on the internet for the latest from the Coen Bros. but we heard that is wasn’t the full trailer that was in front of prints of “The Social Network” so we wanted to wait for the full trailer to be released and today we’ve got it here for you guys. And it looks pretty damn amazing. The cast looks wonderful, the cinematography looks fantastic and it looks like this will be getting a lot of attention come Oscar season next year. I’m not a huge fan of Westerns but I’ll be damned if this one doesn’t have me excited. So what do you think?
This trailer is a hell of a lot more titillating than the teaser. Rooster Cogburn is back. I'm interested to see what the Cohen's and Bridges bring to the story and characters.
This film appears to be a far cry from the original. Is that a bad thing, maybe, maybe not. Those of us that are fans of the original may have a problem with a re-make. These were my original thoughts when my son first e-mail the first trailer. Granted, I'm a John Wayne fan to this day. I remember seeing the original in the theater. But even at 11 years old, I remember one of the three original actors was horrible, sorry Glenn. The new cast looks like a winning team, Good job, Cohen Brothers. I hope the film is as good as the trailer. I rarely go to a movie the first day it opens, but I think I will for this one. DC
