The last film I saw by director Terrance Malick was “The New World” and that wasn’t a film that I’d consider a classic. Essentially, he’s not a director that I would high on my list of favorite directors so let me say that seeing this trailer has immediately caused me to consider going back and re-evaluating my stance on the director. I simply found this trailer to be, in essence, stunning. Not too sure about what the narrative is about exactly but I like being in the dark. Always a fan of Brad Pitt and having Sean Penn in there only adds more weight to this film, which has seen much delays but from this, is destined to be more than just a bleep in the career of director Malick. So what do you think? Did the trailer cause you to suddenly take interest in the film?
yeah! i was amazed when i saw this trailer ahead of Black Swan a couple weeks ago. definitely making a point to see this in the theater.
