It’s that time of the year again and the lineup for the 2009 Rock The Bells concert has been announced over at Guerilla Union. And I have to say, there wasn’t a huge jaw dropper act for me as I’ve seen most of these but there was one right in the middle that got me uber excited: M.O.P. Now I know in the past that these guys have been on the Rock The Bells tour but I don’t think theyve ever made it out to any West Coast performances. Maybe this will be the year for me to see one of my favorite groups live. And I must also be the only one not impressed by Damian Marley but I’m sure he’ll be a big draw. But throw in some Wu-Tang members, sprinkle a little Outkast with Big Boi, grand master KRS-One, Kweli with Reflection Eternal….yeah, this shit is gonna be pretty dope. Now if only they would solidify dates so I can buy my tickets ASAP! What do you guys think of the lineup? Also, were there some acts left off that should of been on there? Comment away!
Halo is just now introducing my to the Hip Hop realm, but I’m actually stoked about Sage Francis! :)
murs is only hosting? and no slug? wtf?
@Solitaire: Sage Francis puts on a pretty good live show!
@dego the rapper: Hopefully Murs will at least throw down a song or two. Just a heads up, Atmosphere is performing in Santa Cruz at the Catalyst Club on the 19th of this month.
you know who else is on rock the bells? fresno’s own…fashawn. that’s word on the street.
Really!? That would be friggan awesome! I was kinda wondering if he would show up at the show. To bad his name aint on the poster cause it would of been awesome for him to be on this lineup, like officially. Fashawn reppin’!
yeah sooooo, it looks like the flyer is wrong ..now…

@ e: Yeah, they made some slight changes to the lineup and announced dates & venues. I think it might be the Bay Area show for me. Check it out at http://www.guerillaunion.com/rockthebells/
