Dumb Drum runs into Rick Bentley at Wondercon from Roque Rodriguez on Vimeo.
So last weekend, Bryan & I made the trek to San Francisco to nerd out at Wondercon 2010. One would think that the highlight of the show would have been Kevin Smith’s Q&A or the surprise appearance by director Christopher Nolan or Nic Cage’s crazy hair. But NAY!, that honor goes to Fresno Beehiver Rick Bentley who was spotted carrying around a giant Flash statue among a bus load of other nerd paraphernalia. We wanted to do a formal interview with the guy (and maybe sneak in some questions like “What did you REALLY think of our Rogue Film?”) but alas, he musta found that 12-inch Darth Maul in that booth or something because he was in there for a LONG TIME and we gave up and left. But not without this little clip of goodness. Just further perpetuating the notion that all bloggers are nerds at heart :) Next time, Bentley! SIDE NOTE: We’ll be giving away some swag from the show next week here on Dumb Drum so keep your browsers set here! (Video includes some not very wholesome language. Be warned!)
Rick Bentley know the importance of The Flash.
LULZ! That's awesome!
*knows
Is 'berd out' a combo of nerding and bearding out? Or nerding and Bentleying out?
Everyone knows it's the latter. Can't get enough Bentley in my daily blog diet.
R.B. was in that booth for a VERY LONG TIME. I think he knew we were outside waiting for him.
I have a feeling that Rick Bentley could out-nerd the both of ya …
That sounds like a challenge! NERD-OFF!!!
I'm sure he'd kill us but I'm down to try to topple him!
