Wes Craven returns to the scene of the crime, so to speak, as he returns to the remake of his “first” film (in his interview during the documentary Inside Deep Throat, he says that he had directed some pornos on his path to filmmaking. Let your imagination run wild with that one…) but not as director & writer but rather merely as a producer. Although the original was released in 1972 the theme of revenge is one that doesn’t age.
