We’re finished! As we mentioned last week, a group of us got together to create an entry for the first Fresno Lookee Loo Showdown. We met our deadline and wrapped earlier this week and tonight is your chance to come out and check out what we’ve created. It all starts at 8pm (doors open at 7:30pm) at KP’s Actors Gym, located at 1470 N. Van Ness Ave. (in between Olive & McKinley Ave.) and the event is FREE! Not sure exactly how many entries were ultimately submitted and crossed the finish line but no doubt there will be a few examples of this experiment in local filmmaking. I wish I could give you a hint of what our film is about but… aw, screw it! I’ll give you the title: The Lycanthropes. You should be able to figure it out from that, right? If all goes well, maybe we’ll post it here for you guys to check out after the screening tonight at some point. Come out and support this new event by checking out what everyone came up with working within the challenge’s limitations. It was an awesome experience and suggest that if you feel the need to take your filmmaking skills to the next level, you should really think about participating next time. In the mean time, you still have plenty of time to create and entry for Swede Fest 4 (I have no shame, I don’t). Hope to see a few of you out there tonight!
