Dumb Drum shows you how easy & fun it can be to make a swede

With the Swede Fest 4 deadline looming, mere weeks away, Bryan and I have decided that the best way to convince those of you that might be on the fence about submitting is to show you how easy it is! This production literally cost us $6.95 and that was to purchase the vest that Bryan wore. Everything else we used from stuff we had laying around. A little creativity, some memorization of lines and we were set. Remember, a swede can be a movie scene, an entire film, a movie trailer, TV shows… the possibilities are endless! The deadline to submit an entry is still Wednesday, November 4th at midnight so get cracking! And if you do plan on creating an entry, let us know by emailing us at brodiemash@gmail.com or thedumbdrum@gmail.com! It isn’t necessary but we’d like to have a rough idea of how many entries we’ll be screening at the event. Good luck and hope to see some new faces at this at Swede Fest on November 7th!

  1. At first I was thinking that with all that beardedness on the screen this was going to be a swede of Grizzly Man. Nice work, this must have been from the original, since it was not in 3-D.

How do I get a cool avatar?

  2. Loved the promo. Has anyone ever done a swede of the Goonies? If not, that would be my ideal swede cameo! I'm not sure who I'd rather be mouth or data but those two were the funniest in my opinion.
