The 2011 Game Developer Conference went down last week and some of the best looking footage coming out of there had to have been this demo that Epic Games did demonstrating these visuals that will be what the next generation of their proprietary graphics engine will look like. And the future looks pretty as all hell. Besides the awesome lighting effects, character detail & modeling advances, the fact that all of this is rendering in real time is mind blowing. I know the next generation of consoles are still a ways off but if this is any indication of what’s to come this generation, that stuff can wait!
