Another day, another list. It seems in this day and age of infographics and polls, we can’t go two internet hours without seeing Fresno appear on some list. This time, it’s not about bad air or drunkness but rather something that kinda hits close to home: video game spending. Coming in on this list in the number 19 spot (among US cities), Fresnans sure prove that they sure love their video games as they vote with their wallets. I wonder if there’s any correlation between this and obesity? The poll, put on by Bundle, tracked credit card spending at Gamestop, EB Games & Steam to see how much people were spending on gaming, which is now a multi-billion dollar industry, of which I’ve personally contributed a good chunk of change to. I wonder if this poll will serve the naysayers as fodder to continue to shit on Fresno as they have in the past with those aforementioned ones.
