YouTube goes Hollywood!

According to an article over at CNet, YouTube is going to begin offering full-length feature films as early as December. There aren’t any specifics as of yet, but it seems as though this streaming service will be ad supported and could take as long as 90 days to implement. One Hollywood studio has jumped on board for this service and a company spokesperson said “We are in negotiations with a variety of entertainment companies. Our goal is to offer maximum choice for our users, partners, and advertisers.” It will be interesting to see how they plan to bombard viewers with ads while the film is streaming and wether or not this will detract from the movie experience.
