This one’s only for the real hardcore that remember the EPIC battle between cars back in the classic Knight Rider TV series. That battle still stands out in my head and when I heard the suck-ass remake of the show was bringing K.A.R.R into the mix, I have to say it peaked my interest. And this lil’ preview hit the net and they stuck with Peter Cullen as the voice, apparently (he also does the voice for Optimus Prime so you might hear the similarities) so that was cool. Will this finally get me to return the the turd of the series? Perhaps just to see the big, dumb robot, but judging from the looks of the preview, it alreay looks pretty awful. DAMN YOOZ FOR PREYING ON MY NOSTALGIC ASS!
Can’t say much for the show itself, but the visual effects actually don’t look that bad for TV (especially that last shot). I’ve seen much worse!
Nostalgia? Hmph. Remakes? Hmph. A Jedi craves not these things.
